ROUTE 09: SABAH AL-SALEM

Sabah Al-Salem is a suburb belonging to the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate. It is bordered by Mishref to the North, Adan to the south, Sabhan to the West, and Messila to the East and Southeast. 




























Direction:


Go up or down the 40 Highway until you reach Rd 207. Go west for  a few hundred yards and you will come to a roundabout. Go straight across here and after a very short distance, before some trees, you will see a piece of empty ground beside roundabout.

From RV we rode toward to houses area in Sabah Al-Salem. Our first given task, downhill about 3m at sand area with a row of tree just waiting for you at end. Oh my god! Babak and I tried the easiest way. Others, die hard!

















 We passed the kuwaiti lanskap with houses, masjid, car parks and malls. I enjoyed the ride with green scenery with nice weather 23 degree C.

We rode until Sheikh Mubarak Al-Kabeer (a.k.a Mishref Palace. The palace has been built 90 years ago by Sheikh Mubarak The Great (1896-1915), the founder of modern Kuwait. Well built palace in strategic area.
Continue rode and stopped for awhile at Masjid Bilal bin Rabah. Took group photo here.




Nice water towers with blue and white strip, one of landmark in Kuwait.
After that, we headed to breakfast point at Az-Zahra Co-op.




Enjoyed the a cup of hot coffee in open air area (applicable for winter season only).
