RIDING TIME:

As usual, we start with route briefing and attendance by Bobak as team leader. Raining suddenly drop (not heavy) at starter point, but we still proceed.

We started from the Al-Forda, vegetables market and headed towards the open desert, from hard to soft sand. Some area we need to push our bikes.

We passed by the local's sheep shed in the middle of desert.

Stopped at the lake for group photo.

Jay lost his hand phone during passing one of bump. Jay and Bobak returned back a couple km's to search but in vain but Jim, Nicol, Ahmad and I just waiting there. Bobak had to make a judgement call and leave Jay behind to pursue his search, Luckily he called Bobak around 5pm informed that he found his phone.

We continued exploring this weird lunar like landscape which lay ahead of us...

Well this time around the mere thought of that Lollipop was just too much temptation and hence dragged five tough nuts to the field.

The moment we started the skies opened up and gave us a very light drizzle for the first five km, it stayed overcast all the way through with zero winds which was a blessing for this long ride and a good reminder not to do this ride after February as it'll be too hot.

Later on, we passed the quiet stable village in the middle of nowhere, and by now approaching the Friday prayer time.

I dismissed earlier and said goodbye. I went to nearest Masjid for Friday prayer and others continued their journey back to RV point.
After prayer, I continued another 8 km to reach RV. Bobak asked me use Sulaibiya road as guide that will lead to Al-Forda Market.

I reached at 1.00 pm and the rest already left.

Al-Forda Market

I took mutton bryani at Indian Restaurant inside the market (1st floor)..wow! best! maybe because of hungry and tired..
